iOS app privacy
The data the MyPeakYears app processes, why it is needed and the choices you have.

We process your email address and profile information you provide, such as name, height, weight, goals, activity level and onboarding data, to provide your account and app features.
Daily check-ins may include sleep duration, steps, strength training, cardio minutes and whether a protein goal was met. This data is used for your own progress and synchronisation between iPhone and web. Cycle context is separate, off by default and has its own explicit opt-in.
Cycle context is only offered when female is selected in the profile and is off by default. If you enable it, we store the consent record and minimal cycle events such as a period start or end and whether the source was manual or Apple Health.
Cycle data is used only as context for recovery and daily behaviour coaching. It does not change the Healthspan Score and is not used for fertility, contraception or medical predictions. If you disable Cycle context, stored cycle events are deleted from MyPeakYears.
After your separate permission, the app can read steps, sleep data, recorded workouts, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability (HRV) and VO₂max. If Cycle context is separately enabled and you grant Health access for it, the app can additionally read menstrual flow only; other reproductive HealthKit types are not requested for this feature. Steps, sleep duration and recognised cardio or strength workouts can automatically add to your daily check-in. Missing HealthKit data is not stored as zero or ‘no’. Resting heart rate, HRV and VO₂max provide context on the Apple Health screen and are not silently added as extra score components. The app does not write data back to Apple Health.
If you enable automatic synchronisation, MyPeakYears reads permitted HealthKit data again when you open or return to the app. HealthKit may also deliver changes in the background; iOS decides when such background work actually runs. A manually adjusted check-in value is not automatically overwritten while it differs from the last value imported from HealthKit.
HealthKit data is not sold or used for advertising, marketing, advertising profiling or insurance selection. You manage access per data type through iOS privacy settings.
Offline check-ins, Apple Health synchronisation status and reminder settings are stored per account on the device. This version does not register a remote push token. A local reminder contains no health measurement or diagnosis.
MyPeakYears uses specialist providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, build infrastructure and transactional account emails. They may process data only to provide and secure the agreed technical service.
We do not sell personal or health data. The iOS app contains no advertising, uses no advertising identifier and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Account and product data is generally retained while your account is active. Cycle events are additionally deleted when you disable Cycle context. Limited data may be kept longer where necessary for law, security, fraud prevention or a dispute. We use encrypted connections, user isolation, row-level security and restricted server privileges.
You can correct data and request access, a copy, correction, restriction, objection or deletion. You can delete your account directly in the app through Account → Delete account. Send privacy requests to support@mypeakyears.com.
